About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Reliability Engineer to join our team at The Qantas Mascot Corporate Campus. As a key member of our Fleet Management Team, you will be responsible for providing Continuing Airworthiness Management Services to the Qantas Group airlines.

Your primary focus will be on managing the aircraft Reliability program, coordinating reliability initiatives, and assisting in the management of the maintenance program. You will also assess modifications to ensure the fleet maintains an excellent safety record while improving operational performance and optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement scheduled maintenance requirements using MSG, RCM, or similar methodologies.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues affecting fleet reliability and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop business cases to support modification decisions.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
  • A Professional Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and statistical analysis methods.
  • The ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions, even with incomplete data.
