Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled professionals to provide support and care to elderly individuals in their homes. This is a part-time position working 30 hours per fortnight, with opportunities for career advancement and valuable on-the-job experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, hygiene to ensure their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, social activities to ensure they can access essential services and maintain independence.
  • Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.
Requirements:
  • Essential Skills:
    • Effective communication skills
    • An empathic caring approach
    • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
    • Access to a fully maintained insured vehicle
    • Strong planning organizational skills
    • Competency with smartphones tablets or willingness to learn
    • Physical fitness for manual handling extended periods of standing sitting
  • Qualifications:
    • Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)
    • Current First Aid Certificate CPR or willingness to obtain
    • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License
