Azurecon is seeking a skilled legal professional to play a pivotal role in enabling innovation while safeguarding our legal and compliance obligations across our digital and technology landscape.

This role will support the delivery of complex projects with government and private sector clients, facilitate the adoption of emerging technologies, and ensure legal risks are effectively managed to support growth.

You'll have the opportunity to advise on technology and digital projects, provide legal and compliance support on issues relating to data, privacy, cyber security, AI, intellectual property, and emerging technologies.

Drafting and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Advise on technology and digital projects, including procurement, licensing, SaaS, data use, collaboration, and consulting arrangements.
  • Provide legal and compliance support on issues relating to data, privacy, cyber security, AI, intellectual property, and emerging technologies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with government and private sector clients, and partners and vendors.
  • Support development and implementation of governance frameworks, risk assessments, and policies and procedures.

We're looking for someone with 5–8 years PQE, with experience in technology, IP, privacy, data, and/or government contracting. You should also have a background in a law firm and/or in-house environment, with exposure to technology-related legal matters.
