About the Role

The Direct Care Worker (Residential) assists in providing direct care services to residents of the Residential Care Home. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role works closely with health professionals and forms part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure residents receive safe, dignified, and person-centred care.

This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, personalised care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering direct care services to residents.
  • Collaborate with health professionals to ensure safe and dignified care.
  • Form part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in executing a position.
  • Direct care experience in a health-related field.
  • Experience working with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Proficiency in computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
