Job Requirements
  • Ships Master: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fishing industry, with a valid license or registration.
  • Ships Engineer (Fishing): At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fishing industry, with a valid license or registration.
  • Master Fisher: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fishing industry, with a valid license or registration.
  • Ships Officer: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fishing industry, with a valid license or registration.
  • Fishing and Deckhands: At least 1 year of Australian work experience, preferably in catching and handling crab.
  • Seafood Processors: At least 2 years of experience as a seafood processor, with verifiable references.
Responsibilities
  • Ships Master: Manage fishing operations aboard the vessel, in consultation with the company owners.
  • Ships Engineer (Fishing): Maintain and repair the vessel's engines and equipment.
  • Master Fisher: Oversee the fishing operations and ensure the vessel is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Ships Officer: Assist the Ships Master and other crew members with various tasks.
  • Fishing and Deckhands: Assist with catching and handling crab, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Seafood Processors: Assist with unloading and processing seafood, and perform other tasks as required.
Compensation
  • Ships Master: $120,000.00 or greater, subject to negotiation.
  • Ships Engineer (Fishing): $67,000.00 to $75,000.00.
  • Master Fisher: $73,150 to $75,000.00.
  • Ships Officer: $67,000 to $75,000.00.
  • Fishing and Deckhands: $65,835 to in excess of $73,150.00.
  • Seafood Processors: $65,835.00 to in excess of $73,150.00.
