Job Title: Waste and Sweeper Operator

The primary objective of this role is to maintain cleanliness and safety of hard surface areas across the City of Melbourne's parks by operating street sweepers and waste collection vehicles.

This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities and occasional weekend work as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled street sweeping, removing rubbish prior to sweeping, and ensuring areas are kept clean.

  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any defects.
  • Operate plant, vehicles, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
