About the Role

MTC Recruitment is currently working with a renowned local council based in Maroubra to find a skilled Garden Maintenance Specialist to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a physically fit individual with previous garden maintenance/landscaping experience to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mowing lawns in sports field areas using both push and ride-on mowers
  • Planting shrubs and trees
  • Pruning and uplifting
  • Mulching
  • Weed management
  • Using various garden tools such as brush cutters, push mowers, and blowers
  • Irrigation checks
  • Litter picking
  • Chainsaw and chemical spraying permit will be beneficial
  • Other duties as required by the client
Requirements
  • Previous garden maintenance/landscaping experience
  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet all day
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Full driver's license
  • Valid MR License is highly desirable
  • Ability to work as a team or independently
  • White card required
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Australian Citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights
