Warehouse Operative: High Reach Forklift Experience Required

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a high reach forklift driver, you will be responsible for operating high reach forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, performing tasks such as pick packing, receival and despatch, inbound and outbound operations.

  • Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently, ensuring maximum productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Pick and pack products with accuracy, meeting or exceeding productivity targets.
  • Perform laboring duties as required, including pallet picking and other related tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years high reach experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Current forklift license, valid for the type of equipment used in the warehouse.
  • Experience working in a frozen meat environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg repetitively, with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and stamina.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must have own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and steel capped boots.
Working Hours:
  • Full-time hours - 38 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 shifts per week.
  • Day shift start times commence at 6am, 8am, or 10.30am, while afternoon shifts are available at 2pm or 4.30pm.
Remuneration:
  • Base pay rate from $38.91 per hour for day shifts and $43.58 per hour for afternoon shifts, plus penalties as applicable.
  • Overtime is available, with opportunities for additional income.
