Cloud Security Technical Program Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud security and lead the development of innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Technical Program Manager who will own long-term security outcomes for AWS. This includes working with external customers and regulated industries to understand their needs, technically reviewing and/or designing security systems and solutions, and innovating and delivering on program vision and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate security-related engagements with internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and alignment of security objectives.
  2. Identify security packages of work, plan for their delivery within agreed timeframes, and leverage strategic foresight to anticipate and address potential challenges.
  3. Implement security compliance frameworks into design and build baselines to achieve agreed security posture.
  4. Be proactive in removing roadblocks, fostering innovation, and managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  5. Create, optimize, and support cross-functional working groups and projects, fostering collaboration and synergy across departments to enhance security capabilities.
  6. Utilize domain expertise to develop thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies, contributing to industry discourse and organizational knowledge sharing.
  7. Manage tight deadlines with precision and drive results, exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Significant years of experience working in areas related to security, such as delivering cyber-security programs, auditing, security architecture, regulatory affairs, or public sector agencies involved in cybersecurity management.
  • A deep understanding of at least three of the following areas - information security, cryptography, communication security, service-orientated architectures, cloud-based systems, security risk assessments, or threat modelling.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, IT Security Management, Security Risk Management, or a related security field.
  • Experience in implementing security industry frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce detailed and complex written narratives.
