The Facility:

This is a large, high-quality facility that provides exceptional patient care to the surrounding community. With an inpatient service that includes a new ICU and all subspecialties except Psychiatry, our growing Emergency Department sees 12,000 patients per year, with approximately 15% pediatric presentations. Located in Melbourne, Victoria's largest regional city with a population of approximately 250,000, this location offers easy access to Melbourne as well as the stunning beaches, restaurants, and wineries of the Peninsula, Surf Coast, and the Great Ocean Road.

The Position:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medicine Specialist who will promote patient quality and safety, provide leadership, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers in a support and inclusive team environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration or eligible for Registration with AHPRA
  • Comparable registration from UK, Ireland, USA, and Canada and assessment by ACEM
