Our Focus


Kmart are modernising and optimising our end-to-end supply chain systems and operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, deliver a safer working environment for our team and faster delivery of products that delight our customers to nearly 500 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.


We're creating the next generation of retail supply chain technology with a focus across our warehouse management, transport/logistics, inventory optimisation, and demand and forecasting systems.


About the Role


As an Agile Project Manager for our Retail Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our Agile teams towards successful delivery. Your deep understanding of Agile principles and your ability to facilitate essential ceremonies will help us execute our business strategy effectively.


You will mentor teams, manage roadblocks, and ensure that we continuously improve our ways of working.


Key Responsibilities



  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support collaboration to align with business strategies and team missions.
  • Leverage your experience to manage structured Agile teams, including virtual and distributed teams, ensuring effective communication and execution.
  • Apply pragmatic decision-making to optimize team processes, including Estimation, WSJF, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing, TDD, ATDD, User Story Slicing, and Kanban.
  • Coach and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility.
  • Navigate organizational dynamics to help teams overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and document processes effectively.

Requirements



  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in structured Agile environments.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and alternative approaches to enhance team performance.
  • Familiarity with DevOps delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with the supply chain domain and/or integration/interface development is an advantage.
