Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Marriott's high standards of quality and safety
  • Support the sales and service of our wine and beverage offerings, including pouring wine and beer, and providing recommendations to guests
  • Work collaboratively with the cellar store and wine bar team to achieve sales and service goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in wine and beverage service

Requirements

  • Passionate about food, beverage, or eager to learn more
  • Positive, always keen to learn more or explore/suggest new things
  • Strong/confident verbal communication skills
  • Independent but plays well with others
  • Someone who can work autonomously in quiet periods, but thrives at fast-paced bar & floor service
  • Someone who takes pride in their space and work, and maintaining its appearance
  • Holds a current RSA + at least 18 years of age
  • Has the right to work in Australia
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and some public holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience
  • License or Certification: None
