This role will support the development of innovative projects by our team. You will contribute systems engineering expertise and oversight to the wider multi-disciplinary team. As the project scales-up, your role will continue to grow and diversify to accommodate iterative changes and client demands.

To be successful in this role, we require a Systems Engineer that is capable of:

* Conducting requirement analysis and development
* Conducting design development and integration
* Conducting Verification & Validation (V&V)
* Creating associated plans, procedures, processes and documentation
* Working within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management
* Assisting with preparation and/or review of work instructions
* Working within management standards and established industry practices
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer and supplier contacts

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

* Essential qualifications include a degree in a relevant electrical engineering discipline and membership (or eligibility for membership) of Engineers Australia
* Experience in Systems Engineering practice using EIA-632/IEEE 15288 or equivalent
* Hands-on experience in configuration management practice
* Understanding of the ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line)
* Experience in risk management
* Hold an NV1 (or greater) Security Clearance

Desirable qualifications include:

* SATCOM engineering experience
* Experience in requirements management and use of DOORs and V&V planning and test execution
