Job Title: Maritime Security Officer - DP World

At Certis Security Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Security Officer to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our maritime zones, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control access into maritime zones, ensuring compliance with MTOFSA regulations and approved security plans.
  • Monitor and respond to alarms, incidents, and security breaches in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of entry gates, site buildings, and grounds to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Verify contractor induction cards and MSICs, and ensure all personnel have completed relevant training and hold the necessary access levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Certificate II in Security Operations and current security license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in security operations and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
