About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrician to join our team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time role operating on a lifestyle roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining machinery and commercial and industrial installations. They will use various technologies to investigate and diagnose equipment faults, ensuring repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining machinery.
- Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial installations.
- Use of various technologies to investigate and diagnose equipment faults.
- Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
- Complete scheduled maintenance, field breakdowns, servicing - inclusive of component change outs and statutory electrical testing.
- Ensure electrical safety is paramount in the execution of all electrical work.
- Be a proactive part of the sites electrical team in identifying improvements.
- Willingness to be able to perform in supervisory capacity when required.
About You:
We are looking for a skilled HV electrician with:
- An Australian Trade Qualification.
- Current QLD Electrical Licence or equivalent.
- Exposure to a heavy industry environment in a similar role.
- Competency in use of diagnostic tools.
- Electric Drive Haul truck experience.
- HV Switching qualifications.
- High level of diagnostic skills and schematic knowledge.
- Experience with Electric Haulage systems on Mining Equipment.
- Safety Focus with high attention to detail and abide by site safety processes.
