Urology Service Registrar Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic and supportive urology team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH). As a Urology Service Registrar, you will play a key role in the timely assessment and management of patients with acute urological conditions.
You will work alongside specialists to assess patients referred from the emergency department, other hospitals, and general practitioners in the community. Your responsibilities will also include inpatient referrals from other specialist units and participation in the on-call roster for urology registrar cover, with the full support of an on-call consultant for clinical decision-making and surgical interventions.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- MBBS or equivalent, and general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a commitment to quality improvement
- Experience in the assessment and management of urological conditions, with developing clinical skills in flexible cystoscopy
