Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller in meeting monthly and period-end reporting requirements to provide visibility on company performance and ensure compliance with various corporate requirements.
  • Assist the executive team with complex accounting matters related to company projects, such as acquisitions and divestments, equity-based transactions, and other financial initiatives.
  • Ensure consolidated monthly reporting timelines are adhered to by the team and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Review monthly results against budget and forecast and provide performance review comments.
  • Comply with corporate requirements, tax, and audit and accounting, including completing periodic tax calculations and managing and reviewing finance team work.
  • Perform or review period-end adjustments and consolidation for group financial statements, including hedging, remuneration report, notes disclosures, and director's questionnaires.
About You
  • You will have extensive experience in finance, preferably from an ASX-listed business.
  • You will have a high competency in Excel and TM1.
  • You will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant with a University Commerce Degree majoring in accounting.
  • You will have 5+ years of experience with a Big 4 accounting firm in audit.
  • You will have worked in an FMCG or consumer goods industry.
