About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TAS Middle Leader to join our team at La Salle Academy Lithgow. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the TAS department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for success in all aspects of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the TAS department, including curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of all students.
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Experience in leading and managing a department, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
