Job Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Policy Specialist to lead the design and national implementation of a Recall Policy and Clinical Risk Framework. This role will involve overseeing the rollout of a centralized Recall Management System across all sites, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and procurement strategies.

The successful candidate will act as the clinical risk liaison across departments, providing expert advice on recalls and adverse events. They will support hospitals with training and education on the new system and manage ongoing reporting and risk-informed lifecycle management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a Recall Policy and Clinical Risk Framework
  • Oversee the rollout of a centralized Recall Management System
  • Liaise with departments to provide expert advice on recalls and adverse events
  • Support hospitals with training and education on the new system
  • Manage ongoing reporting and risk-informed lifecycle management

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience with recalls in a clinical setting, intermediate knowledge of medical devices, and strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to determine severity and required actions for recall-related events.

You will also need to have experience leading organizational change and system implementation within a healthcare environment, exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
