About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MMU Operator to join our Cairns Quarry Service Team in Queensland. As a Blasting Specialist, you will be trained and supported to operate our MMU Vehicles, which are highly advanced heavy rigid vehicles fitted with the latest technologies to deliver bulk explosives at our customers' mine sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and set the example of our key company value 'Safety is our priority, Always';
• Operate our MMU trucks and other associated blasting plant machinery;
• Provide operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and stakeholders;
• Assist with preventative maintenance on all associated plant and machinery;
• Assist with the delivery of explosive products into pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
• Work in tight unison with our teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;
• Act with integrity and respect at all times.

Requirements

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence is essential;
• Demonstrated work experience in physically demanding environments;
• The ability to work outside in all weather conditions;
• The ability to pass all required security checks to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence;
• An excellent, positive, and team-based attitude;
• A basic mechanical comprehension would be highly regarded;
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen.
