About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team within the Services division in Australia. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of electrical rotating machinery, including LV & HV electrical motors and generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain electrical rotating machinery, including LV & HV electrical motors and generators
  • Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment
  • Conduct static and dynamic tests to electrical equipment
  • Perform balancing on motors (desirable)
  • Order goods when required
  • Take direction from Supervisor to ensure day-to-day section runs effectively
  • Attend onsite to effectively conduct repair of electrical rotating equipment

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the repair and rewind of DC motors, medium to High Voltage electrical motors and generators
  • Attention to detail and high commitment to quality
  • Dedication to working in a safe manner
  • State-issued Electrical Licence/permit
  • Trade Certificate III Electrical Fitting
