Family Caregiver Role:

Job Overview: We are seeking a warm and patient individual to join our family as an afternoon nanny.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect the child from daycare after a 20-minute walk or drive; car provided if necessary
  • Prepare and serve afternoon tea, engaging in playtime with the children
  • Optionally visit a local park following daycare
  • Assist with dinner preparation by heating meals
  • Maintain a tidy environment after meals and playtime
  • Support with bath time routine

About This Position: Our ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and caring, with experience in caring for toddlers or similar-aged children. They should be reliable, able to establish a structured evening routine, comfortable with meal preparation and tidying, and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements: While not essential, childcare qualifications are preferred. A Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) are mandatory. Additionally, a valid driver's license is desirable but not required. The ability to care for pets is also an advantage.
