We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Officer to support families through the orientation process and help children settle into their learning environments. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to initiate difficult conversations with families, and connect them with relevant community resources.
About the Role- Support families through the orientation process
- Assist with child settling into learning environments
The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in early childhood education & care or above, have current Level 2 First Aid, CPR Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training certificates, and be up-to-date with Mandatory Reporting Training. They should also be familiar with early childhood development and behavioral strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with families and provide guidance on how to navigate government funding processes
- Identify and address behavioral concerns in children
- Develop and implement strategies to support family engagement and inclusion
