HVAC Technician Assistant

A challenging role for a motivated individual to assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
- Perform various tasks related to the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The ideal candidate will possess technical abilities to maintain systems, work safely and follow all safety procedures, as well as provide excellent customer service skills.

This position is responsible for installing, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units. The successful candidate must be able to safely get themselves and necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop via ladder, work at heights, load and unload tools/equipment from work van, lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally, lift to shoulder and overhead up to 25 lbs occasionally, push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs, climb ladder to roof height, extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion, manual tandem lifting up to 125 lbs.
Requirements- High School diploma or GED equivalent, HVAC Trade school graduate strongly preferred achieving 3.5 GPA and excellent attendance.
- 1+ years in mechanical support role, some hands-on HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA Certification - Type I & Type II or Universal Preferred.
- NATE certification a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
