Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blast Specialist to join our team in a newly built service centre. This is an 8/6 roster position, with accommodation provided in Karratha.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dressing and Painting: Prepare surfaces for painting using a grinder, following specifications outlined on drawings.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance of production tools to meet industry standards.
  • Process Planning: Assist in basic process planning for paint and blast shop activities.
  • Operational Support: Operate hand tools and power tools as required, and assist in the ordering of consumable items.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in painting or blasting.
  • Knowledge of blasting specifications.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools.
  • Good communication skills and ability to read technical drawings.
