Comprehensive Care Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to provide holistic and comprehensive nursing care to individuals in a specialist service. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality patient care, conducting clinical observations, and developing health-related treatment plans.
- Conducting clinical observations, including assessment using relevant tools.
- Providing medical support including medication administration, basic wound care, and health screening.
- Developing health-related treatment plans in collaboration with the broader team.
- Providing person-centred care to individuals with complex trauma and co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.
- Working collaboratively with medical professionals to provide medical support and oversight.
This casual position requires the ability to work a rotating roster of morning, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and weekdays. You will also be required to work on call when scheduled.
Requirements- Degree or equivalent in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Practical experience in service delivery, with an understanding of addictive behaviour and drugs.
- Skills in triage, medical assessment, decision making, and providing appropriate interventions during crisis.
- Competence in infection control procedures.
- Ability to work a rotating roster of shifts, including weekends and weekdays.
- Ability to be On Call when scheduled.
