We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager with a strong industry and/or technical background to join our Sydney-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and delivering compelling technical product demonstrations and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and market share
  • Provide exceptional customer service, technical support, and training
  • Represent Heidelberg Engineering at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our imaging, PACS, and EMR software implementations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical or technical field, preferred
  • Experience in optometry, orthoptics, ophthalmology, or a related field, highly desirable
  • Technical sales experience in the medical device or ophthalmic industry, a plus
  • Strong IT skills and a digital-first mindset
  • A hands-on approach, while not needing to be an expert technician, mechanical aptitude is a bonus
  • An independent and proactive sales professional who enjoys engaging with customers in the field, fostering strong relationships, and driving business growth through consultative selling
  • A resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, takes initiative to find solutions, and thrives on helping customers overcome challenges
