To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education and Qualifications

  • A relevant Bachelor degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an Australian university or equivalent qualification overseas.
  • Current membership of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists (AOT) and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in providing Occupational Therapy services within a community setting, preferably with consumers with complex needs.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate with consumers, staff and other stakeholders at all levels.
