About the Role

BHP Group is investing in its Operations Services team to provide production and maintenance services that have previously been performed by external contractors. As a Conveyor Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing Belt Splicing Teams to safely deliver at their optimal performance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Foster a positive and productive working relationship and culture between team members and with other departments;
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) standards, hazard identification, and management are applied by departmental personnel;
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes, and systems;
  • Improve fleet performance through quality maintenance practices;
  • Have sound business acumen;
  • Build cross-functional relationships with other areas to support the delivery of maintenance;
  • Have an understanding of SAP;
  • Coach, review, and develop non-trades and trades personnel to ensure their skills are optimized to their full potential;
  • A trade qualification is highly desirable.
