Job Description: Cardiac Physiologist - Clinical Excellence Specialist

This exciting opportunity is for a qualified Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team at MQ Health Clinics. As a Cardiac Physiologist - Clinical Excellence Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical and clinical support for cardiology diagnostics and procedures.

You will be responsible for performing, analysing, and reporting on patient electrocardiograms and related tests. This will involve preparing, managing, and applying technological skills in cardiac equipment for various cardiological interventions.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will work closely with fellow clinicians and support services teams to deliver high-quality patient care and expert echocardiography services. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services remain cutting-edge and patient-centric.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Experience or knowledge in providing cardiac tests and screening, such as Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, ambulatory blood pressure monitors, and event monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interpret results and provide reports on stress tests and holter monitors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases
• Experience in writing reports and managing data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with patients
• Commitment to ongoing continuing professional development
• Ability to prioritise work and manage workloads within established routines, methods, and procedures
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A relevant degree in a field such as physiotherapy, nursing, or a related health science
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in a specialist area, such as echocardiography
