About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Pastoral Care Professional to join our team at Mercy Place Mont Clare. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and staff.

As a Pastoral Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pastoral care services to meet the spiritual needs of our residents, families, and staff. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that all care needs, including spiritual needs, are met.

This is a part-time position available, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work. If you have a passion for providing person-centered care and making a positive impact in the community, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services to residents, families, and staff.
  • Respond effectively to diverse spiritual and religious needs of residents.
  • Promote a contemporary understanding of pastoral and spiritual care with residents, families, and staff.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or other relevant qualification.
  • Theological and/or other relevant graduate qualifications.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to lead a Catholic Communion Service (desirable).
