About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team as a Mechanical Technician for Heavy Equipment Maintenance.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of underground mining equipment, ensuring maximum availability and productivity through preventative maintenance and high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment condition
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to achieve team goals
Requirements
  • A relevant heavy mechanical trade qualification
  • Previous experience repairing heavy equipment in the mining, civil or gas industry
  • A valid driver's license
  • A strong commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Good work ethics, communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
