The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst to join our team on a 24-month fixed term contract. As a Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding software requirements and creating comprehensive test plans
- Executing manual and automated testing procedures
- Analysing test results and identifying software defects
- Working with development teams to resolve issues and improve code quality
You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. If you have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with testing methodologies, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Extensive experience as a Test Analyst, with a strong emphasis on test planning, test execution, and defect management
- Knowledge of testing various types of applications, including web applications, cloud-based platforms, and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Skilled in managing the testing of multiple applications and effectively prioritizing tasks according to requirements
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools
- Ability to improve testing processes and methodologies
