About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CHPP Superintendent to join our Sedgman Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operations and engage with potential future opportunities within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed a Safety-First Culture: Set and maintain clear safety standards, empowering employees to work safely and effectively.
  • Optimize Plant Performance: Ensure plant operation provides optimum performance in terms of throughput, recovery, and operating costs.
  • Site Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate activities at site, supporting maintenance and operational areas.
  • Problem-Solving and Improvement: Resolve operational and maintenance problems, recommending measures to improve operation and equipment condition.
  • Capability Building: Coach, mentor, and provide technical advice to the site team.
  • Data Analysis and Sharing: Timely collation, analysis, and sharing of key work management metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and support opportunities for production, quality control, maintenance, and operational nonconformities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a trade certificate or degree in engineering, with experience in the minerals process industry.
  • Previous senior experience supervising operations and/or maintenance employees.
  • A strong safety focus and excellent leadership, project management, time management, and negotiation skills.
