We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with either light vehicle or heavy commercial qualifications to join our high-performing workshop team. Our goal is to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

The successful candidate will perform service, repairs, and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop. They will also support engine rebuilds and diagnostics, repair and diagnose engines primarily for on-highway, industrial, and power generation applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Exceptional Customer Service.
  2. Perform Service, Repairs, and Maintenance of Heavy Diesel Products.
  3. Support Engine Rebuilds and Diagnostics.
  4. Repair and Diagnose Engines Primarily for On-Highway, Industrial, and Power Generation Applications.
  5. Maintain Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Report Any Issues or Incidents to Supervisors.

Required documentation includes service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via manual forms or digital input screens. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with a community of like-minded individuals who value open communication and diverse perspectives.

To excel in this role, you must hold mechanical trades qualifications as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards). Prior experience in diesel engine repairs and maintenance is desirable but not essential. You should develop strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, demonstrate teamwork and commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies, and adhere to these policies and report any issues or incidents to shift supervisors.
