This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic theatre team as a Theatre Orderly.

As a Theatre Orderly, you will play a crucial role in assisting and supporting clinical staff during procedures, preparing and setting up theatres for surgical cases, safely transporting patients between wards and departments, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment for staff and patients.

  • Previous experience in an operating theatre environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to engage effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Physical capacity is required to undertake the demands of the role.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster is necessary.
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude is essential.
  • A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care is expected.

The Role

This role requires a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months. Additionally, according to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

To be successful in this role, you must provide evidence of the required qualifications and skills.
