Landscaping Laborer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscaping Laborer to join our team at Whole Yards Pty Ltd. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks related to landscaping, hard landscaping, and gardening.

• Perform landscaping duties, including turfing, retaining walls, and other related tasks.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape projects, including paving, drainage, and irrigation systems.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including trailers, chainsaws, laser levels, and power tools.
• Safely operate vehicles, such as light trucks and trailers.
• Comply with and adhere to all company-regulated policies and procedures.
• Comply with and adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Complete daily set up and maintenance of vehicles with supplies and equipment as required.
• Complete daily paperwork, including updates to job sheets, variations, logistical information, timesheets, and other related documents.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including worksites, workshops, and equipment.
• Routinely interact with clients, answering questions and responding to client requests.
• Use job management software to manage, run, and cost jobs.

• Three (3) years of landscaping experience or in a similar construction industry.
• Literacy skills.
• Working knowledge of landscaping standards.
• Strong communication skills, job planning skills, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with installation of hardscape projects preferred.
