About the Role:

The APS 4-5 Course Coordinator manages academic courses, supports facilitators, engages with students, and maintains records. This role also involves assisting with financial tasks, procurement, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Course Coordination (75%):

  • Course Planning and Scheduling: Manage course schedules per academic calendars.
  • Facilitator Support: Assist facilitators with materials and setup for classes.
  • Student Engagement: Address student inquiries and facilitate communication.
  • Course Evaluations: Administer evaluations and compile feedback for improvement.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage course materials and instructional tools.
  • LMS Administration: Support the Learning Management System, including uploads and tracking.
  • Report Maintenance: Ensure accurate records of rosters, grades, and documentation.

General Administration (25%):

  • Financial Management: Assist with monitoring expenditures and processing invoices.
  • Procurement and Contracts: Help with vendor management and compliance.
  • Concierge Services: Manage logistics and support for visitors or facilitators.
  • Administrative Support: Handle record-keeping and correspondence management.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in course coordination or academic administration with attention to detail. Familiarity with LMS or ability to learn quickly is also required. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as well as adaptability with effective prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
