About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rail Operations Coordinator to join our team at Aurizon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of freight across our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage rosters for Locomotive Drivers and Terminal Staff at multiple locations
  • Ensure rosters are compliant with Aurizon's Collective Agreement and meet operational demands
  • Monitor and arrange for deployment of Locomotive Drivers to meet operational requirements
  • Assess and mitigate fatigue levels in accordance with Aurizon's policies and procedures
  • Participate in business transformation projects and contribute to the development of new rostering models
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in logistical planning and rostering systems. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
