About Us

We seek expressions of interest from experienced academics who have a passion for teaching and a strong subject matter expertise in enabling education.

Teaching opportunities are available on a sessional basis across various programs, including the Tertiary Pathway Program and UniPath.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tutorials/lectures to an excellent standard, preparing lesson plans and facilitating informed group discussions and activities to enhance student engagement.
  • Consultation with students in relation to weekly topics, readings, and upcoming assessments.
  • Assisting with assessment administration, such as marking, entering results and providing feedback to students as required.
  • Attend meetings as required by the Course Coordinator/Program Coordinator.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A minimum of an undergraduate qualification (possession or progress toward Honours, Masters or PhD desirable) and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior teaching experience at the tertiary level with sound understanding of core academic skills required for successful university study, enabling pedagogy and/or adult learning principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to foster high levels of collegiality and ability to empathise with students.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
