About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Thrive Human Connections. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents with Autism and developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Behaviour Support programs to children and adolescents with Autism and developmental delays
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualized Behaviour Support plans
  • Conduct Functional Assessments, such as VB-MAPP, to inform Behaviour Support interventions
  • Provide training and support to families and other professionals on Behaviour Support strategies and techniques
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in Behaviour Support
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Education, or Social Work
  • Previous experience in Behaviour Support, preferably with children and adolescents with Autism and developmental delays
  • NDIS certification at Core, Proficient, or Advanced Level
  • Experience working with families and other professionals to develop and implement Behaviour Support plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
