The Role

We are seeking an experienced customer support specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Wholesaler Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers and suppliers, and developing product knowledge to support our customers in finding the products they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve customers on the counter, answer phone calls, and respond to email enquiries
  • Prepare timely quotes for customers
  • Develop relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Be a product knowledge expert to help customers find the right products
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure our branch is presented in the best possible light
Requirements
  • Customer-focused experience in a customer-facing role, including wholesale, retail, hospitality, or trade-based sales
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to support customers in finding what they need
  • Proficiency with computer technology and systems, including Microsoft Suite – we will provide training on our systems
  • A positive and optimistic attitude – essential for our team culture
  • A high level of initiative to support colleagues and customers – no task is too big or too small
  • A strong sense of urgency to multitask in a fast-paced environment
