We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at St Mary MacKillop Outside School Hours Care in Birkdale.

About the Role:

As an Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for primary school aged children. You will work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement educational programs that promote the well-being and development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the National Quality Framework and Catholic Early EdCare's educational philosophy.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Provide children with a safe and secure environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Participate in professional and personal development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices.
