We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Wesley Hospital laboratories.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques, including blood bank and haematology related tasks. They will work closely with our team of pathologists, scientists, and technicians to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and other disorders.
- Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures.
- Complying with occupational health and safety policies and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace.
- Satisfying the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels.
Requirements:
- Be degree-qualified in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar degree which included blood bank and haematology related subjects.
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member.
- Possess excellent organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise your workload and work accurately and efficiently.
