About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Boilermaker to join our workshop team, working on a variety of projects in QLD.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven by quality and flexible in learning new skills.

We require a highly motivated individual with strong ability to fabricate consistently with only 1-2mm tolerances using MIG, TIG and Stick welding.

Strong ability to work from engineering drawings and pass 2 x welding tests including 6G, MIG and TIG base wire route run, fill and cap.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Workshop based welding and fabricating duties
  • Complex variety of jobs requiring all weld positioning
  • Variety of steel types including carbon, mild, and stainless steel
  • MIG, TIG & Stick welding, flux core steel wire
  • Light and heavy including structural flat welding in a rotator
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to fabricate consistently with only 1-2mm tolerances using MIG, TIG and Stick
  • Strong ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Pass 2 x welding tests including 6G, MIG and TIG base wire route run, fill and cap
