We are looking for a medical qualification and eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia, with a specialist or general practice qualification permitting specialist registration with AHPRA. An established profile in clinical teaching, expert knowledge and experience in a general or specialist clinical capacity, including evidence of knowledge of current education best practice, experience in undertaking or facilitating research or scholarship of teaching and learning, a record of contribution to the supervision of medical students, ability to establish effective relationships and to represent and promote the UQRCS within hospitals and health care facilities at a university level and in the wider community, including professional bodies, high level communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues and the wider community, and a commitment to and an understanding of the issues surrounding, living and working in a rural and/or regional area.
