We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at our residential care facility. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing tailored care strategies that promote the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of each resident. Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will contribute to a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Complete assessments and create care plans with residents and care teams.
  • Provide clinical care, manage medications, and respond to health changes.
  • Liaise with families and relatives regarding resident care.
  • Work with other teams to support residents' overall wellbeing.
  • Supervise, support, and delegate tasks to care staff.
  • Maintain records, report incidents, and support quality improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a valid CPR Certificate.
  • Experience in aged care or dementia care (preferred) with strong clinical assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with care.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including in emergency situations.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with electronic healthcare records and documentation systems.
