Qualified Early Childhood Educator Wanted
">We are seeking a qualified, experienced and nurturing Educator to provide before and after-school care and weekend care for a family.
">The role involves caring for three children (ages 3, 7, and 11 years old) in a structured home environment.
">Position Details:
">- Days may vary depending on the family's roster (e.g., Thursday/weekends)
- Example of working hours:
- Weekends:
">- 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Weekdays:
- 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM (includes school drop-off)
- 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (includes school pick-up)
Requirements:
">- A minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent:
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card):
- First Aid and CPR Certification:
- Experience working with multiple children in a home environment:
- Full driver's license and comfortable driving the family car:
- Flexibility to work varying days and shifts based on the family's roster:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills:
- Ability to establish strong relationships with children and families
Key Responsibilities:
">- Providing safe and engaging care for the children
- Assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Engaging the children in educational and age-appropriate activities
- Assisting with homework
- Ensuring a calm and supportive environment especially during morning and evening routines

- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required)
