Your ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking dedicated Pathology Specimen Collectors to become part of our Collection team in various locations throughout the Northern Rivers area.
Work hours will fall between 6:30 AM and PM, with participation in the Saturday roster required.
Your main duties will include:
- Collecting blood samples from patients while ensuring a compassionate approach;
- Receiving and processing urine and fecal samples;
- Documenting patient information accurately;
- Completing online training through our eLearning platform;
- Collaborating with referrers and ancillary services in a healthcare setting.
If you enjoy engaging with people and have experience in customer service, retail, or any client-facing role, this position is ideal for you.
Successful candidates will undergo a thorough paid training program during their first year of employment. Upon completion, candidates will earn an SNP training certificate.

Applicants must hold a current First Aid Certificate, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Previous experience in venipuncture is advantageous but not mandatory.
Candidates with backgrounds in health, aged care, or community services who have a natural affinity for caring for others will be highly valued.
