Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Principal Engineer - Asset Management to lead our growth in the NSW civil asset management market.

Role Overview

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering asset management services for clients owning major road, rail and maritime infrastructure assets. This includes managing asset management projects to meet budget, program and quality targets, while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing asset management options for clients, including whole of life cost and value analysis, and converting the options into detailed solutions and deliverables for consideration by our clients;
  • Leveraging existing, and fostering new client relationships to grow Arcadis asset management portfolio;
  • Leading and contributing to bids for work in asset management across Australia;
  • Managing asset management projects to meet budget, program and quality targets, while exceeding client expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in engineering and/or asset management with tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering (Civil/Structural) or material science discipline;
  • The ability to lead, manage and mentor diverse project teams;
  • Experience working on asset management consultancy activities for major Australian infrastructure assets;
  • Excellent report writing skills with experience in delivering asset management reports for major government and private infrastructure asset owners;
  • Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to present concepts to various stakeholders, as well as the ability to influence the direction of asset management discussions;
  • Excellent client focus to foster relationships with asset owner clients and contractors.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
